Decorating your home can quickly become expensive, but when you create your own art, it can save you money and add a unique flair to your space.
Even if you’re not artistic, you can still make creative pieces to hang on your walls using just a few simple items:

– Canvas
Masking Tape
Paint Samples

As for canvas, you can either buy a blank one of recycle a canvas of an old picture, since the initial step is to cover entire canvas in one color.

After canvas is completely dry, apply masking tape at different widths.
Use other colors to create stripes and after it is dried, remove masking tape and there you have it!

The video demonstrates how to do it with the simplest design: plain stripes.
But of course, you can create other shapes using the masking tape.
Be creative!

DIY wall art and decorating ideas are fun and fascinating.
For those of you with kids on summer vacation, this can be a great way to bring the family together.
