Soy, Dairy and Gluten free Banana Bread that Your Whole Family Will Love
Banana is one of the healthiest fruits but some, especially children, don’t like it.
Having it in a form of a bread-makes it eatable also for those who usually don’t eat bananas.
Making a Gluten Free and vegan Banana Bread is easy:
All you need are:
– Gluten Free self raising flower
– 4 tablespoons grand flax seed: This helps to bind. Not to rise.
– Dairy free margarine, which is trans fat free
– 3 Bananas: Break it up
– 100 ml. golden Syrup or a gravy syrup
Put all ingredients in a food processor and you will receive a smooth and creamy butter.
You can also so it all by hand but it just takes longer.
Finally Mix together:
– Half tablespoon of bicarbonate soda and:
– Half tablespoon of warm water
This gives the Banana bread a little bit of rise.
spoon banana bread butter into the baking pan. The texture will be smooth & glossy.
Turn the oven on 180 degrees and bake it for 30-35 minutes.
Once it is out, check with a cocktail stick or a toothpick to see that it is well baked. If not just yet, put it back into the oven for another 5 minutes. Not more.
